  BARATOMETRAJES ® was a special documentary, produced by HUGO SERRA in conjunction with filmmaker Daniel San Roman in 2005. A production that was unanimously praised (even thought it was produced on a shoe-string budget). The aim was to reveal the secrets of a few independently produced feature films. This 23-minute documentary, managed to receive three awards and several nominations, plus out-of-competition exhibits. It remained “active” for more than 3 years. BARATOMETRAJES is a word that has been established as a concept for a movie type (http://lacomunidad.elpais.com/alta-definicion/2008/5/26/cinco-baratometrajes-deberias-ver) and was extended to create specific sections BARATOMETRAJES ® at various film festivals. |
